We are proud to announce winning the ‘Excellence in Collaboration’ award together with Inland Homes and LABC Warranty at the local Herts & Beds Constructing Excellence Event. These awards highlight innovation in construction within the Herts & Beds area and celebrate our successes.
The nomination and award relates to work on the Cheshunt Lakeside development Phase 1A. This first phase of construction at Cheshunt Lakeside is a partnership scheme with B3 Living, a local, Broxbourne-based housing association. In total, 195 affordable homes are delivered within this phase across two buildings. More than 80 of these homes will be available for local people to buy. The working relationship between HBC, LABC Warranty and Inland homes on the project has been hugely successful.
The Awards Event took place at BRE Innovation Park where we also had the opportunity to see some of the new buildings that have been recently constructed. These buildings display innovative design, materials and technologies which combine to address the development challenges facing the construction industry. We also had the opportunity to visit the new Seismic MMC Demonstrator Project which offers a glimpse of the future!
Our Excellence in Collaboration nomination will also be judged in the East of England Regional Awards and these winners will go forward to the prestigious National Constructing Excellence Awards later in the year. Fingers crossed!
